Make Your Creations Come To Life With Glowing Ink

Have you been looking for a new, fun way to take some of your latest creations to the next level? You are done looking.Glowing printer ink is a great way to add some pizazz to greeting cards, informational newsletters, decorations for a party or the holidays, signs, or even t shirts. The glowing ink will work without the purchase of special paper and you literally have no limits but the extent of your own imagination.Just use whatever there is lying around.
There are plenty of manufacturers that sell this ink, but if you want to further explore your own craftiness, try making the ink yourself.

Before you can make the glowing ink, you need the materials, and this will require a few different shopping stops. You will need glow in the dark powder, which can be found at an arts and crafts store of the crafts section of a department store or retailer. Next, make sure you have an ink refill kit.If you don’t, a quick trip to an office supply store or even online will do. Be sure that this kit is compatible with your printer. And lastly, so that you might easily transfer ink from the ink cartridge to the mixing bowl and back, you’ll need a syringe.

When you’ve assembled the necessary materials, you need to mix a quarter-teaspoon of the glow in the dark powder with 3 teaspoons of the printer ink (microwave safe bowl). To dissolve the powder, run in the microwave for about 30 seconds and stir until the powder has been totally assimilated.Let this mixture cool for a few minutes now.The syringe should now be used to transfer the ink mixture back into the waiting ink cartridge. The ink refill kit should be able to guide you how to insert the syringe into the ink cartridge’s refill holes. Before you try to print off some of your art, use the clean cycle on your printer.Glowing will not be possible unless you expose the ink to the light for a few minutes after it has been printed out.

That’s it! Who knew a printer ink cartridge endeavor could be so fun?Your creativity may now be unleashed, and let your projects know no bounds.Halloween costumes, while certainly the most common usage of these inks, are not the only thing they are good for, since they could also be used for interesting home decor in the evening. Try adding the glow-in-the-dark effect to several different ink colors.Just enjoy yourself, let your imagination flow, and prepare for the amazed comments from your friends when they admire your handiwork!
